Door-in-Door and More: New LG Refrigerators at CES 2014.

On display at our booth at the Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas, LG’s latest round of French-door and side-by-side refrigerators will expand our lineup of models that come equipped with the exclusive Door-in-Door™ feature. All of our newest refrigerators are also ENERGY STAR® compliant, so they are energy-wise as well as convenient.

Introduced in 2010, the Door-in-Door™ feature was immediately met with tremendous consumer enthusiasm and has since found its way onto more and more models. As an alternative to opening the main refrigerator door, the Door-in-Door lets users open a specially designed mini-door inside the main door, putting popular food and beverage go-to items within easy reach. This solution also avoids much of the cold air loss from the main refrigerator compartment, reducing energy costs while also minimizing temperature fluctuations, thereby keeping food fresher, longer.

Other standout features on LG refrigerators include the quiet, durable, energy-efficient Inverter Linear Compressor, which comes with a 10-year parts warranty; the Smart Cooling Plus System; the Slim SpacePlus™ Ice System; the easy-to-use Smart Pull™ Handle and our effective Fresh Air Filter.

The Smart Diagnosis™* feature further allows LG call center representatives to diagnose potential issues over the phone. In addition, the Smart Diagnosis™ smartphone app allows consumers to record and analyze special signals from the refrigerator for immediate advice on repair options!

Specific features vary by model.

Visitors to our booth can discover the LG 4-Door French-door Refrigerator (Model LMX30995), the 3-Door French-door Refrigerator (ModelLFX32945), our new 3-Door Refrigerator (Model LFX29945) and the Side-by-Side Refrigerator (Model LSC22991).

*SmartDiagnosis is designed to supplement existing methods of problem identification and may not be able to troubleshoot all issues.
